The „Holy Trinity” monastery complex of Saharna is situated in one of the passes near the picturesque village Saharna, 8 km from the district center Rezina and 14 km from the railway station Rabnita in a deep trench on the bank of mountain stream which flows into the river Nistru. It was built by the monk Bartholomew in 1777. Here are two churches belonging to the monastic complex - winter Church of the Assumption and summer Holy Trinity church.
