Fort Ross Historic Park
Fort-Ross was a former Russian settlement and is now a wooden fortress on the coast of northern California (USA), 80 km north of San Francisco-based Russian-American Company for fishing and fur trade in 1812. In 1841 the Russian-American Company sold its ownership of a large landowner John Sutter. Fort Ross was the southernmost Russian settlement in North America. Today is a historic park in California.
