Built by Wladislaw Horodecki, House with Chimaeras in Kiev is a unique structure. Sophisticated architectural forms are hidden ghostly figures of  Horodecki dreams. Downpipes elephant trunk shaped, rhinos, antelopes, giant frogs, mermaids and other figures are constructed of cement, a next-generation material in the nineteenth century when the house was built. Very innovative design uses a maximum of Kiev's irregular topography, three-story stands on one side and six on the other side of the hill. The interior design was also considered very modern and included a cold room for food storage, a cellar, a laundry, a garage  and even a special room for the cow Horodecki had.
