The Seychelles
It is considered one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world. It is the place where nature has remained intact after thousands of years of existence and its extremely attractive beaches have clean and clear water. This real paradise is where half of the country is a nature reserve. The archipelago includes 115 islands, located just below the equator in the Indian Ocean on an area of 400,000 square km. The name was given by the Portuguese archipelago, which they called The Seven Sisters * *. Vasco da Gama was the first browser that signaled the beginning of the sixteenth century, but the islands remained uninhabited since 150 years. The archipelago is considered a true paradise with palm trees, exotic fruits, clean water, tropical gardens that adorn these islands of great beauty.

The words above are in Creole dialect spoken in Seychelles meaning " Hello Seychelles! I love you!" After God created the world, a handful of diamonds were left. He looked to east Africa and thought: "Here I can create something wonderful." He threw those diamonds in the ocean and thus Seychelles were born. This is the myth of the birth of these islands, the natives still living in memory. How many times have I dreamed to get to these islands! How many times, reading about this paradise, I never imagined the great sound, the smell of exotic plants and the warm smiles of the locals! It is a beautiful destination, remote, exclusive and not cheap, but I was given and am grateful to see it! Located not far from the east coast of Africa, Seychelles is an archipelago of over 100 islands. The main island, Mahe, hosts Victoria's capital (named after Queen Victoria of Great Britain). Conquered in sec. XVIII by France, Seychelles came under the British occupation after the Napoleonic wars. Seychelles gained their independence from the British crown in the XX century. The official languages are Creole, French and English. The majority of religion is Roman Catholic and Anglican one. Regarding the Seychelles economy, tourism is the main source of income. The international airport located on Mahe island was built by the British during the occupation.
The island of Silhouette is the third in size, about 6 km long and about 3 km wide. This island is especially recommended for nature lovers and hiking fans. It has wonderful beaches and the center of the island is a mountain of approx. 800 m high, wooded, which can be climbed, there are paths and you can reach the beaches on the other side of the island. The Silhouette Island can be reached on the main island by boat or by helicopter. This island, as well as around the Seychelles motorized water sports, were declared UNESCO Natural Reserve. It is recommended that only divers, water sports are allowed here. Seychelles underwater life is breathtaking. Considered by many as the most romantic place on the Earth and also as one of the cleanest places on the Earth , Seychelles perfectly accentuates the word "paradise". The "collections" of the wonderful coral reefs, the white sand beaches, the turquoise waters and mountains, Seychelles takes you think of the illustrations of a perfect holiday, where everyone would like to visit.
