Heinolds´ First and the Last Chance Bar

If you really want  to impress your friends with awesomeness of Oakland you have to take them to Heinolds´ First and the Last Chance Bar.

This bar, which the  locals still call its old name “Birdie and baby” was a favorite pub of the writers JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. It is linked with the fact that they once exchanged their works for  pints of beer.  It is said that   lessons of the young Jack London were taught in this location. He loved to spend many hours here, feeling like in a shelter.  It is possible to demonstrate even at which table the writer sat in this pub.

For the lovers of tourism I think it would be a very interesting place. It is considered  an authentic, historical, and old fashioned pub by the visitors. There  are different historical pictures and works of art,  very interesting objects hanging on its walls here. The pub offers different business cards. When you enter the pub, be ready to imagine the past old days. It is a great place to bring people out . This bar is very friendly .  The floor is slanted in the pub.

The bartenders are very discreet and lovely with the visitors. The pub has a great variety of drinks. This is a perfect place for sunny days. The interesting music doesn’t tangle to the guests’ conversations. It is congenial kind of place. The crowd has a good time here and it is respectful of your space.

Once you  enter the pub it might be your new favorite bar!
