Casale Borghetto represents an excellent villa with a private pool, carefully situated in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, in the beautiful region of Umbria. This amazing villa lies at the foot of the slopes of a remarkable hill named Mount Qualandro. It is located on the border that separates the incredible Tuscany from the green countryside of Umbria.
The Casale Borghetto, once an old oil-mill which dates back to the 1800s, has been completely restored but it is still keeping its local architectural style of the original structure. Its exterior surface is covered with stone, and the villa offers a scent of history and an unique charm at the same time.
Casale Borghetto is beautifully surrounded by traditional olive groves, opening a breathtaking view, featuring a massive and majestic castle on the top of the mountain as the background of the majestic villa and Lake Trasimeno and Chiana Valley stretch on the foreground.
The remarkable estate comprises two separated structures, the main villa and the small, adjacent guest house, which form this fantastic property.
The main villa represents a three-floor structure, and its main entrance is made directly from the garden and there is also a back entrance that takes the guests only to the bedrooms.
The ground floor of this imposing structure is totally used as a daytime area with a spacious dining room, carefully completed with an exquisite brick archway and a stone fireplace, and a comfortable double bed-settee. The stone kitchen is an original and traditional space that can be found in many farms in the area, fully equipped with all household facilities and accessories. There is an old wood oven which has been transformed into a bathroom with a shower and two sandstone washbasins, which create a very delicate and fashionable place.
The first floor is designed with a small reading room or also called a drawing room, that features a stone fireplace and a double bed-settee. There is a hall for the second back entrance to the house, which serves as a passage to the other two bedrooms. One of them has a double bed and the other one includes two single beds, both perfectly decorated with wall paintings depicting interesting scenes of the nearby castle and the picturesque landscape that surround it. There is also a small bathroom with a whirlpool shower.
On the second floor, an attic that has another double bedroom with a canopy bed is designed, an antique desk for writing and a trompe-l'oeil depicting the amazing view that can be seen from the large window overlooking the adorable Lake Trasimeno. Adjacent, there is another superb bedroom with two single beds and a delicate bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and a shower. The main villa includes 12 beds beautifully designed in its 183 square metres.
The small villa is used as a guest house, situated alongside the main villa featuring a wide, veritable colonnade that measures around 18 square metres from which a spectacular panorama of the surrounding countryside can be seen . On its ground floor the guest can get to see a suitable living room with a stone fireplace and a bed-settee. Here is also a fully equipped kitchen which is entirely decorated with hand-painted tiles, and the bathroom has a whirlpool shower.
The entirely property is an amazing destination where to spend wonderful experiences, exciting adventures, while having fun or relaxing close to the loved ones. The Casale Borghetto is a charming villa, ideal for a relaxing holiday, where the guest can delight themselves with spectacular landscapes.
