   New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science will give to visitors the opportunity to admire a truly majestic natural history of about 12 billion of years ago, starting with the appearance of the Universe to our days. It opens displayes with stones and gems, following with the “Age Of Giants”exhibit, where are displayed skeletons of the real dinosaur. The museum was founded in 1986 and includes an permanent exhibit hall, which relate an fascinating journey through time, taking  you back in time, when the Universe was born till the Ice Age. This journey includes eight time halls starting with: Origins, Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Jurasic Super Giants, New Mexico’s Seacoast, Age of Volcanoes, Evolving Grasslands, Cave Experience, ending with New Mexico’s Ice Age. The museum houses the Skeleton of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which reaches a high of about 3.7 meters, and a  length of about 12.2 meters. Entering the museum you will be welcomed by two gorgeous bronze statues of the dynosaurs Pentaceratops and Albertosaurus. There is a exhibits that includes fossils of the dinosaurs only from New Mexico. Another attraction in the museum is the Naturalist Center, where the kids can take a look on the microscopes and make their own bear footprints on the sand, or they can take a look at the Fossilworks,  where paleonthologists are working behind the glass, exploring the bones of a dinosaur. One more captivant destination in the museum is the LodeStar  Astronomy Center, that represent an amazing planetarium with a theater that has a Virtual Voyages Simulation. The museum features a giftshop, located on the ground level, which provides with imaginative nature games, or other intrigant games, making the kids very curious.
