The most important town in Cape Cod is Provincetown. It is located at the extreme tip of Cape Cod. Provincetown is also called "P-town”. The town is known for its beaches, harbor, artists, and tourist industry. One of the well known monuments is considered to be The Pilgrim monument, which was built in 1907–1910.

The Cape Cod National Seashore is a 40-mile protected area from Eastham to Provincetown and was recently named among Forbes Traveler's "America's 25 Most Visited Tourist Sites". This place is known for its pristine beaches, self-guided nature trails, bicycle trails, lighthouses, picnic areas, scenic overlooks, and historic sites. The Visitor’s Center offers ranger-led activities, hour-long programs for children, including environmental games, explorations and activities. If you want to see what plants and animals are living on this area and which one needs to be protected, then the Province Lands dunes is the perfect place for you. The main highlights of the National Seashore are the Fort Hill Area, the Coast Guard and Nauset Light beaches, Nauset and Three Sisters Lighthouses, the Marconi Station Site(Wellfleet), the Highland Lighthouse (Cape Cod Light) and Highland House (Truro).

  Another attraction in Cape Cod is the large number of beaches. Cape Cod beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beaches on Cape Cod offer something for everyone. Because of the calm weather and really small waves, Cape Cod Bay is perfect for both young kids and grown-up people. Cape has both public and private beaches, which are easily accessible. The Cape has upwards of sixty public beaches, many of which offer parking for non-residents for a daily fee. Cape Cod beaches are very clean and its water is clean and clear. Also if you want to see some mysterious beaches, this is the perfect place to come. In the area there are some fascinating places where instead of sand on the beach you can see green grass. So the whole mysterious beach is covered with a fragile grass, which gives this place an amazing view. On the south side of the Cape, you will find the beaches of Nantucket Sound. These beaches feature soft, sugary sand with warm, calm water ideal for swimming and windsurfing. On the east side of the Cape, you will find the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. These beaches feature the cold water and crashing surf that the Atlantic is known for. It is here that you will find the dunes that capture the look of Cape Cod. The Best beaches are: South Beach in Chatham, Corporation Beach in Dennis, Rock Harbor in Orleans, Coast Guard Beach in Eastham – the best beach for surfing.  Along the beaches, in Cape Cod you can see very unique lighthouses. The Cape Cod lighthouses have been witnesses to history for hundreds of years. They watched over the Cape’s shoreline and sailors in the days when the waters were thick with commercial fishing boats and whaling fleets. Cape Cod boasted over twenty working lighthouses. Many have been deactivated; some have been knocked down. The ones that remain, however, are beautiful icons of the Cape and reminders of her history. Many of the remaining lighthouses are open to the public for tours. Others are even available for overnight stays. There you can see The Sandy Neck Light, Bass River Light, Chatham Light, Stage Harbor Light, Monomoy Light, and Long Point Light.
Besides the natural beauties, in Cape Cod you can see a number of anthropic goals. The main example is Heritage Museums and Gardens. Is located in Sandwich and have miles of walking paths and three museums featuring American art. The Heritage Museums & Gardens is dedicated to preserving and sharing the American Spirit in history, horticulture, art and industry. Near Shawme Pond, there are some beautifully landscapes like the naturalized woodland park. Here you can see also an Antique Automobile Collection with its stunning display of antique automobiles. An operating hand-carved carousel and many of America's most distinguished artists' works are on exhibit in the Art Museum as well.
Another important museum in Cape Cod is Museum of Natural History. The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in located in Brewster and was founded in 1954 with a mission to encourage and advance understanding of the natural environment through discovery and learning. The museum futures two floors of exhibits, that shows about the flora and fauna of Cape Cod. There are exhibits like whales, indigenous birds, coastal change, and aquariums holding different species of crustaceans, fish, frogs, turtles and snakes.

  Cape Cod is also popular for its outdoor activities like beach walking, biking, camping, boating, fishing, go-karts, surfing, windsurfing, boating, unique shopping, kayaking, and golfing. There are 27 public, daily-fee golf courses and 15 private courses on Cape Cod. Golf is always one of the top things to do in Cape Cod. People come here to relax and play golf, because here are the most well-appointed golf courses in the state. The most known courses in Cape Cod are Bass River Golf Course and Bayberry Hills Golf Course, both located in Yarmouth. These courses are two of Cape Cod’s oldest and most noted courses. Bass River Golf Course features a snack bar, pro shop, snack bar, and professional P.G.A golf instructors. Two other nearby golf courses are Dennis Highlands Golf Course and Dennis Pines Golf Course.
