One of the most important museum of natural history in Germany and a member of UNESCO World Heritage, Senckenberg Museum of Natural History is a shining jewel in the city of Frankfurt. This museum includes exhibits that reflect the biodiversity of the life and the evolution of the organism during the past eras. The idea for the construction of a natural museum, came from the German poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who also was a natural scientist. The apperance of the museum was possible due to the local doctor Johann Christian Senckenberg who established a research foundation. The building of the museum was built in 1907, and now is also the house for the Research Institute. During the time the museum was restored and modernished, offering the greatest collection of natural history in the Europe, some of the exhibits are extremly rare or unique in the world.
