Tivat is a coastal town in southwest Montenegro, located in the Bay of Kotor. Besides being a popular tourist resort, Tivat is a center for the southern Adriatic Shipping. Prevlaka near islands, together with localities and Kalimanj Zupa, offers excellent conditions for building ambaractiuni ports and yacht clubs.
Although the youngest city in the Boka region, Tivat offers many interesting locations. Renaissance Summer House Buca in downtown Flower Island (Ostrovo Cvijeca) with monuments such as St Michael monastery, sandy beach Plavi Horizonte and the Island Sveti Marko, the former Club Med are the most visited attractions. The city itself offers Kalimanj natural harbor, and a series of cultural events.
