   Independence Hall of Philadelphia is the most important landmark for the history of United States. This Hall can be recognized as the birthplace for America, here was signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. In this building was adopted the Constitution of the United States also, in 1787. 

 
  This building is full of memorable moments full of dignity and the glorious history is well related by this building. The construction of the Independence Hall started in 1732 and was designed by the architect Edmund Woolley, helped by Andrew Hamilton, and the building supposed to receive the Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylavania. It took 21 years to complete the building, and appeared as a modest brick structure with a wooden steeple on the top of the building that was finished in 1756. In 1876 the Steeple reveived a bell that was donated to the building, called the „” „Liberty Bell”. The Independence Hall was designed in a georgian style and was called initially the Pennsylvania State House and consists from two buildings. The first one, situated on the east side houses the old City Hall, the other one situated on the western site houses the Congress Hall.
 
  The interior of the hall was renovated in 1948, but the building has suffered many changes, especially the exterior of the building was restored. In 1950 the National Park service gave to the building the initiall appearance since 1776. Many important moments are related by this historic building, for example the speech of the President  John F.Kennedy on July 4,1962, that was recognised as the most significant speech in the history of America. The Independence Hall is included in the list of World Heritage of UNESCO. The Independence Hall has also the honor to appear on the back of the American Dollar bill.
 
  So this building is a precious treasure for the American Nation that protects its beauty and glory untouched, trying to transmit it from generation to generation. This gorgeous building is important not only for its design or architecture but more for the documents that were drafted here due to it was formed the United States Democracy that still keeps its air of freedom.
