  Amazonia National Park covers over 40 % from Brazil’s territory, and was established in 1974. This parks lies on 7 from Brazil’s 27 states  and is an massive landskape, that attracts tourists that want to admire its  unique splendor. 

  The park has 994,000 hectares of rainforest and is situated on the left side of the river Tapajos. In this national park you can see the chestnut that is 80 metres tall, the rubber trees, the samaumas, jacarandas that are unique species in the world. You can see as well the giant water lilies that have a diameter of about 2 metres, that colour the waters where the fish tambaqui and tucunare live.

  This park gathers a lot of rare animals that live in these climate as: jaguars, wild dogs and anteaters, some aligators and turtles also. In the  park live over 2,000 species of birds, 2,000 species of fresh fish, including 300 mammals  and over 1 million insects including 1,800 species of butterflies and 80,000 species of plants. The river Amazon  is the ideal home for the pink river dolphins, black caimans, this area is perfect for harpy eagles,parrots, toucans,macaws, that make this place like the unexplored paradise on the Earth.

  Amazonia National Park is perfect for a lot of activities as bird watching, trekking or hiking, climbing or just take a journey with a boat.
