Situated on both sides of a river Nile, Cairo is a dazzling destination, populated by 16 million inhabitants. Cairo is a city of contrasts, where Muslim prayers echoes mixed with Euro-thrash music students causing political police.
Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara and the Egyptian Museum are just a few "miracles" that you can explore civilization in Egypt.
Beyond the tourist facade, Cairo is where you should be careful what you say, because any anti-Islamic remarks can create problems. Women must observe that visits a religious city and to dress appropriately, and be a man or woman, everyone must take off his shoes prior to visiting a mosque. Most shocking is that rule Cairo is not allowed any to men and women in public spaces. If you are spending their honeymoon in Cairo may be a real "torture."
