In Montepulciano, one of the most hunted wines is vino Nobile, an aged red wine of high quality. Besides the typical vines of Chianti there are added in limited quantity the grechetto, bianco and mammola vines. 

   Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG wine is, first recognized in Italy, made from a blend of Sangiovese (locally known as Blackthorn Gentile), Canaiolo, Malvasia del Chianti and Trebbiano Toscano. Is then aged for at least two years (three for the reserve), before being consumed.

   Here we also produce DOC Rosso di Montepulciano (mostly from Sangiovese grapes, locally known as Blackthorn Gentile), Vin Santo and White Lady of the Chiana Valley (mostly Trebbiano Toscano also versions Frizzante and Spumante).
