Somewhere in the middle of the Peruvian desert lies a small settlement complete with a lagoon, palm forests, and a population of 100 people. Huacachina for hundreds of years, known as the "oasis of America, was a hidden green corner in the arid desert. Today Huacachina is resort where family come from the city of Ica, but also for tourists attracted by a new sport, Sandboarding on huge sand dunes surrounding the oasis.
