Sofiyivsky Park is in town Uman, one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. Sofiyivsky Park is considered a masterpiece of landscape gardening, there are some parks in the world that can compete with the harmony of nature and design websites. There are wonderful views of the park which include ancient waterfalls, fountains, lakes, caves, trees, bridges and narrow arch-shaped rock gardens. All this is very pleasing the senses.

Sofiyivsky Park was founded in 1796 by Count Stanislaw Szczesny Potocki, a Polish nobleman very rich, as a tribute to his beloved wife Sofia Clavone. Park is a masterpiece of landscape architect Ludwig Metzel, it is said that the park was inspired and designed by some parts of the poems the Iliad and the Odyssey "by Homer. Stanislaw Szczesny Potocki Unfortunately he could not see the park finished, he died in 1805.

Park was confiscated and became one of Nicholas I's assets which renamed "Park Tsar." The park was restored between 1966 and 1972 with the invention. Sofiyivsky Park was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine in August 2007.
