Knoebel Amusement Resort is a leisure complex including a family amusement park and a picnic area and a campground in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. The complex belongs to the family Knoebel. Knoebel is located in a small wooded valley in central Pennsylvania who was known under the name "Peggy Farm". The place became a popular destination since the early 1920s.
Henry Knoebel, who cultivated the land began to sell drinks, snacks and ice cream to visitors. The popularity of "Knoebel's Grove" grew, until 1926, which was officially opened Knoebel Amusement Park. The park then a restaurant, an attraction of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and several other games and attractions. On 4 July this year has opened a large swimming pool (The Crystal Pool) instead of water wells that served.
