On the outskirts, or rather on the outskirts of Trenton in New Jersey is located a very unusual park - Sculpture park. The exact location is referred to as the "Land of sculptures." In 1984, J. Stewart Johnson, a sculptor and a philanthropist, offered to the public the garden with sculptures and a small pavilion with sculptures too. The main idea of the project was purely educational: to produce modern sculptural work more understandable to the broad masses. Over the time it has become a place not only in the museum, but in the place of communication and rest mass of multilingual citizens of the neighborhoods and surrounding cities. Later, the project was joined by the state government of New Jersey and, in 1992, was brought to the public as a grand complex. The park is set intricately having 240 sculptures, some of these works have been sculptured by such artists as Clement Midmor, Anthony Caro, Beverly Pepper, Kiki Smith, George Segal, Isaac Witkin and others.
