    One of the most important museum of natural history in Germany and a member of UNESCO World Heritage, Senckenberg Museum of Natural History is a shining jewel in the city of Frankfurt. This museum includes exhibits that reflect the biodiversity of the life and the evolution of the organism during the past eras. Is one of the most valuable destinations in Frankfurt, which includes a various collection of dinosaur skeletons, an anaconda that swallows a water boar, and many other curious speciments. The idea for the construction of a natural museum, came from the German poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who also was a natural scientist. The apperance of the museum was possible due to the local doctor Johann Christian Senckenberg who established a research foundation. The building of the museum was built in 1907, and now is also the house for the Research Institute. During the time the museum was restored and modernished, offering the greatest collection of natural history in the Europe, some of the exhibits are extremly rare or unique in the world.

 
  Over 400,000 thousands of tourists  come to visit the museum the year-round, where can admire and explore the unique speciments of plants, animals and even humans. The most valuable treasure of the museum is the gallery that displays the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The other galleries display the dinosaurus skeletons, on the ground floor  are included a large collection of exhibits that show the extinct animals, many preserved fossils, an old fossils for about 49 million years old, that were included in the World Heritage List in 1995. The museum also included a room dedicated to Egyptian mummies, where the visitors can see the mummified cats. Some galleries are dedicated to the minerals and rare rocks.
 
  Senckenberg Museum shows the evolution of the life from the time of Big Bang till the time when our planet appeared. Some exhibitions features the evolution of the nature and the environment. Another amazing gallery is dedicated to the biggest mammals on the world, for example the whales and the elephants. On the upper floors are displayed mounted birds and mammals, from the smallest mouse to the biggest moose, different species of amphibians, fishes ans insects as well. This gorgeous museum succesfully reflects the fascinating history of our planet, relating the main period from the evolutin of the life, attracting the old and the young ages. Every tourist will be impressed by the magnific collection the holds the museum and by the way that the galleries  are displayed, reflecting a very peaceful atmosphere.
