  The Socotra Islands is part of the Indian Ocean islets and the nearly places are Somalia, Aden, Yemen. Socatra Island represents an archipelago divided in four small islands. It is supposed that the Socotra Island archipelago appeared from a rupture from the African continent. Socotra is part of the Republic of Yemen. The Socotra Archipelago is parted in 2 administrative areas, Hadibo and Qalansiya. The two areas are controled by the administration of the Governor of Hadramaut in al Mukalla. The native population represents 70,000 people. The most busy and populated region is the Socotra island and its capital, Hadibo. This region is special for its unusual and rare flora and fauna which is really different from those from the continents structure. The researches and investigations of the natural system of the Socotra Island have demonstrated that a major part of that represents one of the most endangered island floras. It is also recognized as the most remote place in the world, because is separated from the rest of the world. The rich wildlife and exotic nature attracts a great number of tourists and scientist, in order to explore and admire those places. 

 
  The basic dialects used are the Socotri language and the Arabic. Due to the rich vegetation and soil the region exports tobacco, fish, fruits and other local products. The Socotra Island archipelago is also known as the Galapagos island. The wonderful landscapes offer a spectacular view to the relaxing golden beaches, exotic sites with unique birds, animals and plants. The archipelago represents an ensemble of Socotra Mount Island, the Abd Al Kuri island, and the Samha and Darsa islands. The tropical desert climate is dry and hot. Nowadays, the Socotra Island represents an exciting place for ecotourism. Socotra Island archipelago is financial supported by the Yemeni Government and some NGO’s and International Organizations. The main spheres that have to be assisted and monitored in Socotra islands are: heath care, infrastructure, education, potable water, which will assure a better life fot the local representatives.
 
  Despite the social difficulties present in the Socotra Islands archipelago, the location is really appreciated for its natural inheritance and accurate nature. There can be visited historical monuments, which keep the memory of sultan’s leadership in this region. The natural landscapes offer a variety of amazing places: old volcanic caves, sandy beaches, rich wildlife and rare plants. In 2008, the Socotra Islands archipelago was recognized as a world’s environmental inheritance by the UNESCO.
