   On a surface of about 47 hectares lies a huge "bucket" which has a depth of 80 m and that there are some 10 million tons of natural resin. This lake is strange about the existence of volcanoes in this area that pushes the earth's surface rocks and oil mixture. On the lake can step easily, because the asphalt is sufficiently strong to support and a truck.

 

   Lake Asphalt is not just a curiosity for tourists, but also a valuable source of building materials. Resin removed from the lake is used in asphalt road construction and durable: bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports.
