   Ubari is a town in southwestern Libya, in particular in the Targa valley. Lies between the shelf and the sand dunes Messak Sattafat Idhan Ubari. Surrounding villages include Germa, and In Garran. Oasis water is salty as the Dead Sea and swimming is not really recommended due to sewage.
