Amalienborg Palace

Housing Queen Margrethe II, Amalienborg Palace is composed of four castles. These are Moltkes Palace, Palace Schackske Palace and Palace Levetzaus Brockdorfske. In the middle is the statue of King Frederik V on horseback. The ideal time to visit the palace is in the afternoon because then there is the Guard Changing Ceremony. Some official and private rooms of the castle and palace gardens are open to the public.
